Read case study →Three years ago AAO products started getting flagged by customs at borders ? missing or incomplete HS codes. Director's directive: fix it. I built a CSV-driven cron that pushes HS codes + country of origin to every regional store. Running stable since. Recently extended to handle different HS code formats per region (NZ/AU 6-digit, EU 8-digit, US 10-digit HTS).

Read case study →AAO lists on eBay AU and eBay USA via a Shopify app. Orders flow into Shopify, then into Cin7 ? but Cin7 has no native way to filter eBay orders apart from the rest. Customer service wanted to print eBay orders first. Built a webhook + cron pattern that adds an 'ebay' tag to Cin7 orders so they're filterable.

Started BrandSHD, found a fragrance distributor ? who handed me a CSV to import into Shopify every single day after manually adjusting prices. I kept forgetting. So I automated the whole thing: feed sync, product creation, inventory, pricing ? all on autopilot. Then did the same for 2 more suppliers.

Some product names ? words like 'combat', specific gun part names ? were consistently flagging at customs and getting parcels held for inspection. All products are legal, but the delays and customer-service hassle were real. Built a private Shopify app + webhook that strips flagged words from the title sent to StarshipIt, while keeping the marketable name on the storefront. 300+ orders cleaned daily, runs unattended.

But there's a category of one-off products that live only in Shopify ? creating each of them 4 times by hand across NZ/AU/US/EU was eating product manager time. Built a webhook-driven sync: create once on NZ, auto-replicates to other 3 stores with FX-converted pricing. Inventory stays in sync across all 4 stores in near real-time. Running 3+ years, zero failures.
